Create an Azure resource group

Learn how to create a resource group in your Azure account.

Before you create an Azure group, ensure you have the necessary Azure prerequisites. For more information, see topic Configure the Reltio Data Pipeline for Snowflake for Azure.
The Azure Event Grid service routes events from a source to a destination. You create an Azure resource group as the destination for your Azure storage account to send Reltio events.
To create an Azure resource group:
  1. In Microsoft Azure portal, search for and select the Resource groups service.
  2. On the Resource groups page, select Create.
  3. In the Create a resource group page, complete the Basics tab:
    • Project details: Create an Azure resource group for your Azure Blob storage:
      • Subscription: Select the Azure instance in which to create this resource group.

      • Resource group: Enter a name for this resource group.

Tip: Take note of this value. You'll need it when you Create an Azure storage account.

      • Region Select the Azure cloud region.

  4. In the Review and Create tab, resolve any identified issues.
  5. Select Create.
After a Validation success message is displayed, view your new item in the Resource groups page.
