Profile Tabs

The Profile tabs display additional information about the Profile:



The tabs can be hidden and shown by clicking a toggle:



You will see different available tabs depending upon the active Profile perspective. Reltio Cloud displays the Research , Network , and History tabs by default. Click the scroll arrows to scroll through the available tabs:



Research Tab

Use the Research tab to quickly search online for information about the Profile. You can search Google, Yahoo!, and LinkedIn directly from the tab.

You can also add links to search results or add an image to the Profile directly from the Research tab.

Note: If the Insert Image icon does not appear on the Research tab, you must contact your tenant administrator to modify the configuration file to ensure that the Entity Type associated with the entity that you are modifying has at least one attribute type with the data type of "Image URL" and that this attribute type is listed in the entity type property "imageAttributeURIs" in the configuration file.

Note: If the Insert Link icon does not appear on the Research tab, you must contact your tenant administrator to modify the configuration file to ensure that the Entity Type associated with the entity that you are modifying has an attribute type with the name "WebsiteURL" in the configuration file.

Network Tab

Use the Network tab to view a graph of the relationships associated with a Profile. Depending upon your tenant configuration, you can also access the Graph Perspective for more details on a Profile graph.

History Tab

Use the History tab to view an audit of changes made to the Profile:

By default, the history tab displays the most recent version of the Profile. The tab shows a timeline of the Profile and events associated with each change to the Profile, such as changes to values, merges, and unmerges. The timeline may include other profiles that were merged or unmerged to create the current Profile. Clicking on one of the historic timeline "slices" updates the Profile view with changes associated with that slice. The highlighted timeline slice displays the kind of changes (for example, a Manual or Automatic merge) and details such as match rules associated with the change.

Reltio Platform highlights in color any visible changes to Profile that occurred for that slice. Reltio platform displays updates in green and deletes in red.

Reltio platform notes the version of the Profile at the top of the Profile view. Click Cancel to return to the most recent Profile view.

You can compare an historic slice to another slice by selecting a compare view from the drop-down list on the selected slice. You can compare the slice with the current view or with the previous slice. Reltio platform displays the changes in the Profile view colored highlights and displays deleted data with strike-through text.

The timeline stream displays each Profile as a separate line until a Profile merge event. Unmerge events will again display the Profile streams as separate lines after the unmerge event. Each dot in the steam represents an update for each source for the Profile data. Hover over the dot to display the source name. The value "Reltio" displays for any sources that were manually entered using the Reltio Platform, while other sources display the names of the data sources (such as a Data Tenant source). Merged timelines display all source names.

The top of the timeline shows all Profiles (either merged or unmerged) associated with the Profile view. Clicking on one of the Profiles will enable or disable its display in the history timeline.

Search Profile History

To search the Profile history:

  1. Click the Search icon. Reltio Platform displays the history search window.

  2. Optionally specify the date range. Options include:

    • within a given previous time period (specified as a unit of minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years)
    • more than a greater time period (specified as a unit of minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years)
    • between two specified dates
    • within a given range, specified by weeks and days
  3. Optionally search for changes made by a particular user using the Search by User login field.
  4. To specify an event type, place a check in the checkbox adjacent to the event type options. Options include:
    1. Update
    2. Merge
    3. Unmerge
  5. To specify an attribute affected by an update, enter the name of an attribute into the field labeled Attribute. Reltio Platform displays results as you enter. Select an attribute from the list.
  6. By default the History tab only displays updates, merges, and unmerges. Place a check in the checkbox labeled Show detailed history to display all events for the Profile (such as when a Profile was viewed but not updated).
  7. Click OK to apply the search filters to the history.
