Welcome to the Ideas Portal

Use Ideas Portal for enhancement requests and file issues by opening tickets with Reltio Support. Reltio has re-implemented this software from a past version of Aha!. After re-implementing with a new version of Aha!, we have migrated ideas created after January 1, 2018, and will migrate previously shared ideas in future phases. If you had submitted an idea before January 1, 2018, and want to see it in the Ideas Portal, please contact product management directly at

Product Management uses this portal to get continuous feedback with ideas and enhancement requests from customers and partners. The Ideas Portal helps Reltio to collect, curate, and promote ideas into features or initiatives to seamlessly integrate into the product planning and development processes. Please contact your Customer Success Manager to access the portal.

Product managers review and classify ideas every month. Each status has an estimated timeline associated with it.
  • Already Exists - current feature.
  • Planned - ideas already on the yearly roadmap and may be included within the next 3 releases.
  • Needs More Information - ideas that are not clear.
  • Review In Progress - ideas requiring more investigation, research, and collaboration with engineers. Depending on the complexity, they may remain there for some time before being moved to another status.
  • Future Consideration Likely - great ideas to be considered within the next 6 release cycles.
  • Will Not Likely Implement - ideas that cannot be used because of reasons discovered through research and investigation.

Product managers continuously re-evaluate the priorities based on customer feedback, industry trends, competitive pressures, and market analysis, and statuses are subject to change accordingly.

Note that the number of ideas that get incorporated into the product is based on engineering capacity. On average, a software company gets up to 10X more ideas a release than they have the capacity to implement.

Note: If the Required fields do not have the details, the idea is set to Needs More Information status and sent back to the requestor.
  • Enter a Name to identify the topic.
  • Describe the idea including the problem that the idea will solve. This information is used to evaluate the applicability to other issues heard from other customers.
  • Describe the Use Case which includes user navigation and the data flow. These details are used to help visualize the idea in action.
  • Optionally enter any Known Requirements for the idea, specifically focusing on the must-haves. This information assists in determining the possibility of implementing the idea.
  • Enter the Business Impact this idea would have. The business impact drives the rating of the idea.
  • Enter the User Type to provide a persona to the PMs.

Best Practices for Creating Ideas

Ideas typically spawn from a problem because there is a possible negative impact on the business. These are not product bugs but gaps or perceived gaps in the product. For product managers to understand the idea, they must know the use case that creates the problem, the problem to be solved, any known requirements, and the business impact or value, to help make decisions for the progression of the idea. Please share as much detail as possible for clarity and complete understanding of the idea.

Before you submit an idea, search the portal to see if it already exists. Voting on an existing idea will give more weight and influence for consideration. If the idea does not exist, click Add a new idea button and follow the instructions. The following information is required:

  1. Name of the idea
  2. Detail of the problem that the idea solves
  3. Detailed use case and user navigation
  4. Optionally any known requirements
  5. Measurable business impact
  6. User type - Data Steward, Business User, Solution Architect, or, Configurator
The best ideas most likely to be considered for inclusion in a product have the following characteristics:
  • Solve for a broad use case reported by many customers
  • Have a large business impact on a broad range of customers
  • Align with the core competency of the product
  • Create a competitive advantage for an industry or customer segment
The ideas that are least likely to be considered have the following characteristics:
  • Have a narrow focus for a solution to a problem
  • Are specific to a niche market
  • Create a one-off solution or solve a problem that is not seen often
  • Are nice-to-have but have no business value
  • Conflict with the core competency of the product
