Configuring Google Cloud Private Service Connect

Learn about how Google Cloud Private Service Connect enables private access to Reltio services from your Google Cloud VPC.

Google Cloud Private Service Connect, also known as PSC, provides private connectivity from your Google Cloud Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) network to Reltio services. With PSC, traffic for enabled customers stays on Google's Private Backbone instead of traversing the public internet.

Reltio Private Link supports private access for customers who need network isolation, compliance alignment, or private connectivity from their Google Cloud environment. Customers who don't use Private Link continue to access the same Reltio environment through the public endpoint.

Private connectivity model

For PSC-enabled access, Reltio publishes a service attachment from the Reltio Google Cloud environment. The customer connects to that service attachment from a PSC endpoint in their Google Cloud VPC.

The same Reltio environment hostname is used for both public and private access. In the customer Google Cloud environment, private DNS resolves the Reltio environment hostname to the PSC endpoint IP address.

Google Cloud Private Service Connect is for users who run workloads in Google Cloud and need private network connectivity to Reltio services.

This feature is relevant for the following roles:

System Administrator

Solution Architect

Data Product Owner

Ownership and responsibility

Private Service Connect setup requires coordination between Reltio and your organization. Reltio provides the connection details for the Reltio environment, and your organization configures the required resources in Google Cloud.
