Add additional and child derived attributes

Learn how to add more derived attributes and child derived attributes.

In the Console, create derived attributes for an entity type. For more information, see topic Create a derived attribute from the Console.

You can also add more derived attributes and child derived attributes from the Derived attributes page itself.

To add more derived and child derived attributes:

From the Console, select Data Modeler.
In the Data Modeler page, select Entity types from the left navigation panel.
From the list of entity types displayed, select the entity type whose derived attributes you want to edit.
In the Attributes page, select the Derived attributes tab. You will view a list of derived attributes created for the entity.
Select the Edit option from the top right corner of the page.
Select the + icon to view the following options:
Use these options to add child attributes, add attributes before and after a derived attribute. Selecting any one of these options opens the Create a new derived attribute page. For more information on creating new derived attributes, see topic Create a derived attribute from the Console.
