Accelerate the Value of Data

Reporting and Analytics

Reporting and Analytics provides insights into your data by showing you trends and anomalies.

Attention: We're planning to deprecate Reltio Reporting and Analytics in November 2023. For more information, see topic Reltio Analytics, Reporting, Data Science, and Connected Data for Snowflake deprecation notice - Nov 2023.

Reporting & Analytics is the know-how of managing data that allows you to analyze complex data and make meaningful reports and decisions based on that analysis.

Subscription Information for Reltio Reporting and Analytics

When you access the Reporting & Analytics application for the first time, you will see the following screen that provides you with the current license entitlement status:

Note: Both these applications are licensed offerings. If you have already purchased the license, reach out to Reltio Support to enable the appropriate application(s) that is, Reltio Reporting and/or Reltio Analytics.

The following points help you to understand how the licensing of these two applications works:

  1. Once the appropriate applications are enabled, the Reporting & Analytics page displays your subscription status. For example, the screen below shows that Reltio Reporting is enabled and not Reltio Analytics.

  2. If Reltio Reporting is enabled, you can navigate to the reports by clicking the chocolate bar icon or by clicking the GO TO REPORTING button.

  3. If Reltio Analytics is enabled, you will see relevant information that is needed for you to connect Reltio Analytics to the leading Business Intelligence (BI) tools on the Analytics integrations page.

You can integrate with a number of leading BI tools. Some of the most popular BI tools are listed below. To connect Reltio Analytics with any of the following BI tools, click the respective links and follow the steps mentioned:

Note: Use the Project ID and Dataset ID that appear under the Integration details section and the service credentials (separately provided to you by the Support Team) when integrating Reltio Analytics with one of the BI tools.

  • Currently, reports are not generated if Reltio and Google BigQuery (GBQ) don’t contain an object (entity, relation, match or merge). Reltio Reporting displays the Data Set Configuration Error message and additional information is available in the logs.

To ensure that the missing objects are created in GBQ and the reports are visible, check if the object exists in Reltio before executing GcsExport.

  • The GBQ ignores all entities, relations and interactions with corrupted attributes, which contain strings in non-string type fields, such as Integer, Date, Timestamp and so on. This causes a discrepancy between GBQ and Reltio MDM.

To fix this issue, update the attributes values to fit the type or change the attribute type to String and then do a GBQ Batch update.

  • If a match rule is created and as a result an entity is merged, the match contains IDs of the loser (targetId or sourceId). GBQ views do not consider loser information to create the matches dataset and matches GBQ views.

As a workaround, create a custom query using Link views to overcome this limitation.
