Create an LCA in Reltio Console

Learn how to create a Lifecycle Action in Reltio Console after you configure the AWS Lambda connection.

After you configure the AWS connection for LCAs, you can create LCAs in Reltio Console and map them to Lambda functions.

Prerequisite

Before you begin, make sure that an AWS Lambda connection already exists for your tenant. For more information, see Set up AWS Lambda connections for LCAs.

Make sure that the Lambda function you want to use is already available in your AWS account.

To create an LCA in Reltio Console
  1. In Reltio Console, open Tenant management and select Lifecycle Actions.

If a connection already exists, the page shows the connected state and the option to create a new LCA.

  2. Select New Lifecycle Action.
  3. In the Define LCA window enter a name and description for the LCA.

  4. Enter the Lambda function name.

Provide the name of the AWS Lambda function that should run for this LCA.

  5. Select the lifecycle hook and entity type.

Choose the lifecycle hook that triggers the action.

Choose the entity type that the action applies to.

  6. Select Apply configuration and then select Done to save the LCA.

After the action is created, it appears in the Lifecycle Actions page.

  7. In the Lifecycle Actions select the created LCA.

A side panel opens and you can review the details of the LCA.

You can also select the Edit icon to edit the existing connection.

Result

The Lifecycle Action is created in Reltio Console and associated with the selected Lambda function, lifecycle hook, and entity type.
