Working with Saved and Recent Searches

Learn about the Saved & recent search feature for reusing your search queries and results.

Use the Saved & recent searches feature to reuse your search queries and results across the Hub.

Saved searches

In the Saved and recent searches page, the SAVED SEARCHES tab lists all the searches you previously saved or that a team member saved and shared with you.

Search name
On the top right, search the contents in the Saved searches tab. This is helpful if you have a very long list of saved searches. You can easily find a previously saved search by searching by its name. In addition, you can filter the list based on the shared settings or view only your favorite saved searches.
Selection check boxes
Select one or more search queries you want to perform an action on. For example, select multiple saved searches and use bulk delete to easily and quickly delete them at once. Note that you can only delete saved searches that you have created.
Note: As an admin, you can delete another user's saved searches, For more details, see topic Delete Saved Search
Favorites
Mark a frequently used saved search as a favorite by hovering your mouse pointer over it and selecting the Star icon.
Name
The unique name for this search query. You can edit or delete the name of a Saved search that you created.
Shared with
Whether this search is private to you or is shared with others. When you have saved a search query, you can choose any of these options – "Only me" or "All users". These options are not available for the saved searches that the other users created.
Created by
The name or the email address of the individual who created the search query.
Last modified
The date the search query was last updated in mm/dd/yyyy format, for example 04/10/2024 for April 10, 2024.
Filtered attributes
The number of attributes used in the search query. Hover your mouse pointer over the the number to display a dialog box listing the attributes used. For example, a saved search has two filter attributes – "Crosswalks Items" and "HCP". The filtered attributes for that saved search is shown as "2". When you hover your mouse pointer on "2", a dialog box lists "Crosswalks Items" and "HCP" attributes.
Number of profiles
The number of profiles returned by a simple search query or a Load data icon for a complex search query.

If you save searches that have complex queries or retrieve large volumes of data that could impact system performance, configure the QueryEstimator to run additional checks to identify such resource-intensive search queries before retrieving results. Once configured, a Load data icon is displayed in this column instead of actual profile count for such resource-intensive queries. Select the icon to execute a complex search query and obtain its profile count.

To configure this functionality, add this entry to the com.reltio.plugins.ui.json file:
{         "point": "com.reltio.plugins.ui.configuration",
        "id": "com.reltio.plugins.ui.configuration.QueryEstimator",
         "enabled": true     }

For example, if you have a saved search for a particular entity type and there is a large volume of profiles available for that search query when you open it next time, the Load data icon is displayed instead of the profile count.

Recent searches

In the Saved & recent searches page, the RECENT SEARCHES tab lists the last 20 historic searches, sorted in the chronological order with the most recent at the top. This is helpful if you want to reuse an earlier search.
