Recertification overview for Reltio Enrichment with D&B Data Blocks

Explains how the recertification process removes outdated D&B data and re-enriches profiles using scheduled or real-time workflows.

Recertification is the process of ensuring that enriched data remains accurate and up to date by identifying and reprocessing previously enriched records.

Each entity is evaluated to determine if it contains a D&B crosswalk, which indicates that the record has been enriched using D&B Data Blocks. If such a crosswalk exists, the recertification logic removes:

  • The D&B crosswalk(s)
  • Any enrichment attributes previously populated by D&B

Once the outdated data is removed, the record is automatically submitted for re-enrichment using the same logic and data blocks configured for the initial enrichment process.

Recertification modes

The process supports the following modes:

Scheduled recertification

Recertification jobs can be scheduled or triggered via API based on customer-defined filters. These filters define which records qualify for cleanup and re-enrichment, typically based on update timestamps or verification status.

Real-time recertification

In real-time mode, recertification is triggered by entity unmerge events in Reltio. This ensures that records involved in a separation (unmerge) are properly reset and enriched again as standalone profiles.

Note: Recertification ensures that D&B enrichment remains aligned with the most recent data available and avoids relying on stale or outdated information.
