Recertification
Recertification involves getting the latest account information for accounts which already have a DUNS number assigned to them.
In recertification, the profile data is updated with the most recent information available in D&B for the account. Furthermore, if there is a change in the DUNS number for the account, then the new DUNS number is also updated in the account profile along with a verification status.
Input
DUNS Number and country are the only required fields for recertification. Country
field value should already be populated as part of the match and append process, but
it is a good practice to check for completeness and accuracy of this attribute. In
order to select profiles that are candidates for recertification, find all qualified
profiles that have DUNS number populated and use bulk update feature in Reltio to
set the Manual Verification Flag to Yes.
Output with Direct 2.0 API
On completion of the recertification process if a match for the DUNS number is
not found, the new DUNS number is populated. Otherwise, the customer provided DUNS
number remains untouched. When an organization is successfully recertified, the
Vendor Verification Status attribute is set to
Recertified and the Vendor Verification Date
attribute is updated with the current timestamp so that records that have been
recertified can be distinguished from those that have been through match and
                append.
Output with Direct+ API
The Direct+ API process is an implicit match and append process. On completion of the process the DUNS number is replaced with the new DUNS number if the input DUNS number does not exist. TheVendor
Verification Status attribute is set to Enriched (ES) and
the Vendor Verification Date attribute is updated with the current
timestamp so that records that have been enriched can be distinguished from those that
have been through match and append.
