Overriding the New Functionality
To use the Search Before Create feature, the New action for the relevant Salesforce Objects need to be changed.
The SBC page replaces the default create screen
of the object. Reltio Integration for Salesforce package provides the new lightning component that
needs to be used to override the default screen using the following steps:
- Open Salesforce Setup and click Object Manager.
- Select Account or Contact object and click Buttons, Links, and Actions.
- Click Edit for New action and use rtsync:sbcPage as override to the Lightning Experience Override option.
- If you are using Salesforce Classic, you need to select a visual force page and one of the options such as Sbc Account Page, Sbc Contact Page, Sbc Lead Page, and so on.
- Save the configuration.
