Adding Crosswalks

Crosswalk provides a way to uniquely analyze the source provided attributes in Reltio.

A crosswalk helps you identify the records in the input file. If you do not provide a crosswalk, Reltio provides a default crosswalk.
Note: When you load more than 100k records, you must provide crosswalk.
  1. On the main Map page, select the required column.
For more information, see Mapping File Columns to Attributes.
  2. Select the right panel.
  3. On the Mapping dialog box, click Crosswalks.

You can set a default value to the Type field. This will help you if the value for the Type field is missing in the column.

A Gear icon is displayed beside the Type field. Using the Gear icon, you can set a default value for the Type field.

The Gear icon for Advanced Settings is displayed beside the Type option. If the attribute is missing, set the crosswalk type to the list which is displayed.

The value helps you to validate a crosswalk.
Note: You can map fields related to the crosswalk. For a valid crosswalk, you must map Type and Value fields.

The Map Column image explains the mapping of both the Type and Value fields with a default value of HMS for Type field.
