Map specific industry types

Use a custom fixed list to control which industry types are applied during enrichment.

Make sure:

The industry types you want to apply are consistent across enriched records.
You have access to edit the SDK recipe: D&B | SYS | Batch Update Company Information - Reltio Load.

You can restrict the industry classification values applied during enrichment by configuring a fixed list of allowed industryTypes. This prevents unnecessary or invalid classifications from being loaded into your tenant.

To create the fixed list and apply mappings:

Open the recipe D&B | SYS | Batch Update Company Information - Reltio Load.
After Step 5, create a new list variable named applicableIndustryTypes.
Add a new field named industryTypes with the data type set to string to the list.
Select Fixed List instead of Dynamic List.
Select Add Item to enter the allowed industry classification types (e.g., Healthcare, Manufacturing, etc.).
Navigate to Step 9 of this recipe titled Create Organizations in bulk in Reltio.
Search for the Industry Classification fields in the output mappings.
Remove these fields if previously mapped:
- Type
- Code
- Description
- Display Sequence
Map new fields from your fixed list to match the output schema in Reltio.

The mapping now enforces only predefined industry types during enrichment. This helps standardize classification across records and improves data governance.
