Learn about the Reltio Enrichment with D&B based on Data Blocks.

The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation is an American company that provides commercial data, analytics, and insights for businesses.

The Reltio Enrichment with D&B Data Blocks is based on the Reltio Integration Hub (RIH). It consists of an RIH package that can be deployed (imported) into a tenant using RIH Recipe Lifecycle Management. The imported package includes a set of: recipes, connections, environment properties, lookup tables, API endpoints, API collections, connector SDKs, and templates.

D&B licensing

To access D&B Data Blocks data, you require a D&B license. D&B provides customers with API keys that you must configure in the D&B Services Connection and Properties (in RIH) are used every time an API request is made to D&B.

You will be provided with a set of recipes along with a set of dependencies like the data model and API connections through your support contact. The Reltio D&B Data Blocks integration is a prebuilt integration designed to unfold the latest D&B product suite and data enrichment technologies.

Enrich Profiles Across Four Modes of Operation

Use the new D&B Data Blocks connector to get trusted, accurate, and current organization data from D&B’s database. Records are matched against D&B using basic firmographic information.

Note:

Profiles are matched using the following Organization input attributes: Name, Address, Email, Phone, Website URL, and Tax ID. The availability and quality of the attributes determines how D&B performs the Identity Resolution (see Precedence for Transactional and Batches).

There are four supported modes of operation:

  1. Real-Time (continuous enrichment using Reltio ENTITY_CREATED, ENTITY_CHANGED events as triggers)
  2. Batch (which can be scheduled in RIH or invoked manually/externally by using the API)
  3. On-Demand (UI Buttons on the Organization entityType)
  4. Monitoring (requires registration with D&B)
Create Organization Hierarchies and Contact Relationships

Further enrich your organization’s data using D&B company hierarchies to build corporate structures and hierarchies in your organization profiles using the Get Company Hierarchy and Contacts button.

Provides Match Scores

D&B provides a match score (identified by the Confidence Code field in the UI) that indicates the search result quality based on the criteria used for searching. The match score is used to indicate if the returned information is marked for auto-merge or suspect merge. The confidence code thresholds for auto-merge vs. suspect match are configurable, with values between 0 and 10.

So, it is critical to get accurate contact data, key financial information, and information on corporate hierarchy and key personnel from D&B. The correct data will help the representative find the best opportunities by creating an effective sales plan and getting insights about customers and organizations.

A business administrator can configure Real-Time and/or Monitoring (ongoing enrichment) in their Reltio tenant so that the data is always kept up-to-date.
