Reltio Enrichment with BvD set up

Learn about Reltio Enrichment with BvD set up

Reltio cloud platform provides an out-of-the-box integration with the industry-leading business data provider Bureau van Dijk (BvD). BvD is a Moody’s Analytics company that publishes comprehensive business information about companies through their database known as Orbis.

Overview

The BvD integration helps you learn more about your customers’ firmographics, offers relevant insights to improve customer engagement, and enables cross-sell to broader customer organizations. You can use a set of APIs to interact with the data in the Orbis database and enrich your organization’s data.

The BvD integration is based on the Integration Hub. It consists of:
  • A BvD data enrichment connector that is built on RIH.
  • A set of recipes imported from RIH.

The BvD integration uses the same attributes defined in the Entity types for B2B Data Domains. You can also add additional attributes or use the Data Model JSON template.

Benefits

Leverage Reltio Integration Hub

Leverage the pre-built integrations in Reltio Integration Hub (RIH) to do regular monitoring of integrations. You will be provided with a set of recipes along with a set of dependencies like the data model and API connections through your support contact. After importing these recipes to your RIH account, they can be configured based on your requirements. To set up the integration of your Reltio tenant, open a support ticket.

Enrich Profiles

Use the new BvD connector to get trusted, accurate, and current organization data from BvD’s database. Records are matched against Orbis using a BvD Identifier. These records are used to enrich existing data within Reltio using the BvD match button.
Note: For records to be matched, the name must be provided. It is also recommended that you provide an address.

Create Hierarchies and Relationships

Further enrich your organization’s data using BvD’s company hierarchies to build corporate structures and hierarchies in your organization profiles using the BvD details button.

Note: Make sure that you refresh your screen after clicking the BvD details button. This enables you to see the latest corporate hierarchy.

The following image displays the BvD match and BvD details buttons in the organization's Profile view:

Provide Match Scores

BvD Orbis provides a match score (identified by the Confidence Code field in the UI) that indicates the search result quality based on the criteria used for searching. The match score is used to indicate if the returned information is marked for auto-merge or suspect merge. The match score is configurable, with a value between 0 and 1.

Licensing

To access BvD data, you must purchase a BvD license that includes API keys. The API keys must be configured in the BvD connector and are used every time an API request is made to BvD.
