Reltio Integration for Salesforce (with RIH) Overview

Learn about the Reltio Integration for Salesforce (with RIH)

Reltio Integration for Salesforce with Reltio Integration Hub (RIH) enables you to sync and maintain the latest data related to your contacts and accounts in Salesforce. By integrating with the Reltio Context Intelligence Platform, you acquire data that is cleansed and consolidated from various sources into a golden record.

Reltio Integration for Salesforce (with RIH) differs from the legacy Reltio Integration for Salesforce by providing enhanced alerting, monitoring, troubleshooting, and self-service capabilities through the Reltio Integration Hub (RIH).

Data Synchronization Architecture

Reltio Integration Hub (RIH) supports bidirectional data synchronization between Reltio and Salesforce.

Data synchronization from Reltio to Salesforce

The following diagrams illustrate the flow of data from Reltio to Salesforce through Reltio Integration Hub (RIH).

Key characteristics of data synchronization from Reltio to Salesforce include:
  • Trigger through Amazon SNS (real time) and SQS (near real time) for Reltio change events
  • Push-based delivery from Reltio to RIH recipes without polling
  • Best-effort event ordering and single-event processing per recipe job
  • Recipe concurrency of up to 5 jobs per entity type
  • Recipe-based delivery of the final payload to Salesforce objects

Key characteristics of data synchronization from Salesforce to Reltio include:

  • Salesforce changes are notified through outbound messages, with backup polling every 6 hours to recover missed events and ensure that RIH creates any required jobs if a notification is not received.
  • RIH recipes handle the outbound message and keep the Reltio system in sync with Salesforce.
  • Optionally, the integration performs a write-back to update the Reltio URI in the external ID field of the originating Salesforce record, so that both systems maintain a consistent cross-reference.

Key Features

The Reltio Integration Hub uses Salesforce Data Connector (SFDC) recipes and includes the following features:
  • Prebuilt recipes for the Reltio B2B Velocity Pack and Reltio Healthcare Velocity Pack that integrate with Salesforce objects.
  • Bi-directional sync of account and contact data.
  • Configuration to map objects and fields between Salesforce and Reltio.
  • Extensive monitoring and troubleshooting through transparent RIH dashboards and configurable alerts in recipes.
  • Ability to create new integration from the prebuilt recipes for expanded use cases.
  • Search for records before creating them, and import the records not available into Salesforce.
