Add the Search Before Create tab in Veeva Vault CRM

Learn how to activate the Search Before Create X-Page tab in Veeva Vault CRM and collect the page name ID required for setup.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, confirm that you know which top-level X-Page tab you want to use for Search Before Create in Veeva Vault CRM.

Activate the top-level tab

Perform the following steps to activate the top-level tab for Search Before Create:

  1. In Veeva Vault CRM, go to Admin > Configuration > Tabs.
  2. Select Top Level X-Page 1.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. In Label, enter the required name. For example, Search Before Create.
  5. In Status, select Active.
  6. Click Save.

Your Search Before Create tab is now active.

Result

The Search Before Create tab appears in the top navigation bar in Veeva Vault CRM.
