Create an Analyze match strategy job

Learn how to create an Analyze Match Strategy job to review match rules, measure precision, and analyze configuration performance.

This job analyzes the match strategy using sample match pairs from your tenant. The analysis generates key statistics and actionable recommendations to improve match accuracy and effectiveness.

Prerequisites

To calculate match precision, tenants must have labeled data. For details on labeling data, see Match precision labeling APIs.
Follow these steps to create an Analyze match strategy job:
  1. In Console, select the Tenant Management application.
  2. Select + SELECT A JOB.

    The Create new job screen displays all the jobs that you can run, as shown below.

  3. Select the Analyze match strategy job.

    This job's parameters appear as follows:

    You can select multiple entity types as shown in the following image:

    Note: Entity types without configured match rules do not appear in the list.
  4. Enable at least one option:
    1. Calculate match precision score — measures the accuracy of match rules based on reviewed matches.
    2. Analyze match configuration — provides statistics on how efficiently match rules generate potential matches. To use this option, enter the number of entities to analyze (up to 100000).
  5. Select RUN JOB.
    A notification appears indicating that an email will be sent once the job is completed.
  6. When the job is under the Pending tab, you can pause (⏸) or stop (◼) the job by selecting the respective button as shown below.
